Questions families ask
How old does my baby need to be?
Classes start at three months. The youngest age stage is Babies, from three to eight months, and the oldest is Preschoolers, from three to four years.
Do I need to get in the water too?
Yes. An adult is in the water with every child in every class, and the instructor teaches from the water or from the step.
How long is a class?
Every class lasts 30 minutes, and a series runs six weeks.
What should we wear and bring?
A snug swim diaper for children under 3, a swim shirt if you like one, and a towel for each of you. Grown-ups wear ordinary swimwear or a swim top. We have cubbies for shoes and hooks for towels.
Where do we watch if we aren't in the water?
On the bench by the glass wall, or in the studio next door. Brothers and sisters are welcome, with a grown-up who isn't in the water.
What if my baby has had enough?
We get out, wrap up and try again another day. The instructor decides with you, and nobody is asked to stay in.
How do we choose an age stage?
By age, and by what your child is doing. If you aren't sure, say so when you book a first class and the instructor will suggest one at the pool.
What if we miss a class, or the pool closes?
A missed class can be made up on another day of the same series when there is room. When the pool closes, we make the class up or credit it to your next series.
How does tuition work?
It depends on the age stage, the classes a week and the weeks in a series. The enrollment page shows our current figures, and we are glad to go through them by phone.
Do you speak Vietnamese?
Tuyen does, and she is glad to welcome families in Vietnamese. Ask for her when you book.
