How tuition works

Our current figures are on the enrollment page, and we are glad to go through them by phone.

  • What sets tuition

Tuition depends on the age stage, the number of classes a week and the weeks in a series. Every class lasts 30 minutes and a series runs six weeks. The enrollment page shows the figures for the session, and we can talk them through by phone.

    • The age stage

    • Classes a week

    • Weeks in a series

  • Registration

A yearly registration covers your family's file and your first class. It is due when you register for your first series, and it is once a year.

    • Your first class

  • Holding a place

A place is held when the series is paid for. If a class is on the waitlist, we offer places in the order families asked, and we call or text the day one opens. When a child moves up an age stage during a series, the place moves with them.

    • Waitlist places go out in order

    • An age-stage change moves the place

  • Billing

Tuition is billed once at the start of each series, and the enrollment page shows it before you pay. Families who like to can set up autopay for the next series.

    • Once a series

    • Autopay if you like

  • Help with tuition

Ask us whether lessons for families who need them are open this month. We answer by phone or at your first class, and we keep it between us.

  • Withdrawing

We ask for a week's notice before the next series starts. A series in progress runs to its sixth week, and we can hold your place for the series after it.

    • A series in progress runs its six weeks

  • Missed classes and make-ups

A missed class can be made up on another day of the same series when there is room. When the pool is closed, we make the class up or credit it to your next series. If your child is unwell, call us and we will look for a make-up.

    • Another day of the same series

    • Pool closures are made up or credited

  • Uniforms, costumes and other costs

A snug swim diaper for children under 3, a swim shirt if you like one and a towel for each of you come from home. We don't ask for a cap or goggles in a parent-and-child class.
